3T is one of the earliest adopters of metal additive manufacturing (AM) globally, acquiring its first metal printer in 2007. Since then, we have cultivated a wealth of high pedigree material & process data, whilst simultaneously helping to incubate the careers of the talent that exists across the industry today.
Since restructuring in 2021, focus shifted from additive prototyping to a leading series production manufacturer of finished components. This transformation has been driven by a new and experienced leadership team, supported by Sharing in Growth.

At the heart of this transformation was the establishment of a solid foundation for growth, with a focus on simplicity, cultural evolution, and process optimisation to ensure the creation of a highly efficient operation.
We are now entering the most exciting phase of our transformation, where we are building upon this strong foundation by increasing our metal additive manufacturing capability, integrating digital twin series production processes and automation to create a highly efficient compressed supply chain in one factory that unlocks low carbon manufacturing.

Nous accomplirons notre mission en créant les plus hauts niveaux d’efficacité opérationnelle, rendus possibles par l’intégration, l’automatisation et la numérisation de la chaîne d’approvisionnement de fabrication de bout en bout dans une installation spécialement conçue, pilotée par l’IA, capable d’alimenter l’ensemble de l’opération avec des énergies renouvelables.
Nos installations actuelles à Newbury sont devenues notre pilote pour le zéro émission nette, en mettant l'accent sur la réduction des déchets, de l'énergie et la maximisation de l'efficacité opérationnelle. Dans le même temps, nous préparons notre transition vers une nouvelle usine zéro émission nette spécialement conçue pour intégrer tout ce que nous avons développé pour remplir notre mission.
Nous avons deux convictions fondamentales concernant notre parcours vers le zéro net :
Cela ne devrait pas être un coût supplémentaire. Le zéro émission nette vise à accroître l’efficacité et à réduire les déchets, et par conséquent, notre base de coûts continuera de diminuer en conséquence.
La voie vers la neutralité carbone ne doit pas être un avantage concurrentiel. Une fois que nous aurons atteint notre objectif de neutralité carbone, le plan directeur sera rendu public.
